State Line

OK, it’s done. State Line has been uploaded to Amazon and will be available for Kindle Download shortly. I’m very pleased to have got this novel published, it has turned into something of a labour of love for me. I did a final read-through over the weekend to tidy up any glaring mistakes and get a feel for the novel again, having left it alone since August. And I have to say I like the tone of it very much, and I think it stands up well.

I’m more excited getting this one out there because I’ve actually done a bit of marketing on this. I threw a teaser on Facebook a few days ago, then followed it up with a preview paragraph yesterday. Had quite a few likes and so on, so will follow that up tomorrow with links to the download plus a sneaky plug for the blog, so I may get some more traffic here too. I have done all this at the suggestion of my friend Paul, who designed the brilliant cover artwork for State Line (and for Momentum too, I’m bleeding him for all he’s worth!) and gave me some great tips on getting people interested. I owe him a great deal of thanks, he’s a superb artist and a very dear friend so if you read this mate, I owe you one.

So, another novel complete and fit for human consumption. Still amazes me how I had none of it at the beginning of the year, now as we enter its last month it’s been summoned from wherever it comes from and been made whole and finished. Still a joy, still a wonder, and still all I have ever wanted or want to do. I’ll update the Bibliography with a link once it goes live. Ready to hit the State Line?
